The interim game update for Batman: Arkham Knight was mistakenly released to Steam beta users last night, but was quickly removed by publisher Warner.
However, those gamers who did get to try out the update report that performance has been greatly improved by the patch – just as Warner promised it would be.
There are reports online of users being able to max out visual settings whilst still enjoying smooth frame rates, which simply wasn’t possible with the launch state of the game.
Given the patch appears pretty much complete it seems likely we’ll get an update on its release from Warner imminently.
What’s not clear is when the publisher intends to return Batman: Arkham Knight to sale, having pulled it from stores following its technical issues at launch.
