In almost the complete opposite stance from EA last week, developer Bandai Namco has revealed that it intends to increase efforts for the Nintendo Switch due to positive performance of its games on the system so far.
As reported by the Wall Street Journal, Bandai Namco President Mitsuaki Taguchi said the Tekken developer had put three games on the system to date, and all of them are doing very well despite the company admitting ‘It’s a shame, but we didn’t think the Switch (would) be accepted this fast.’
Taguchi further stated that all of Bandai Namco’s properties could see themselves making their way to Nintendo’s console, with at least three ‘big’ exclusive titles to be announced in the next financial year, so we could be seeing a portable Dark Souls in the near future.
