Turtle Rock Studios has detailed a wealth of post-launch DLC coming to Back 4 Blood over the next few months, including the game’s first expansion.

A new roadmap published today offers up a bunch of content both free and in the game’s Annual Pass. The latter entitles players to three new expansions across 2022, with the first named as Tunnels of Terror. It’ll feature new story content, new playable Cleaners and new Ridden. There’ll also be a new activity type, new weapons and cards and exclusive skins. More info is promised on this first expansion for Back 4 Blood at a later date.

Meanwhile, a whole new set of free updates is also on the way. While the remainder of November will see mainly quality of life fixes and improvements, new content will come thick and fast in December. These include new supply lines, a Ridden practice area, and a Holiday Seasonal Event. On top of this, the team say they’ll drop a newly improved Solo Offline mode with campaign progression after many fans requested such a feature. There’ll also be a new card type and all new cards.

Then, in December we can expect a brand new difficulty added to Back 4 Blood, along with a new co-op mode. We’re promised melee updates, and new player and corruption cards. That’s on top of further quality of life improvements.

Back 4 Blood launched last month, and quickly welcomed over six million players by the end of October. You can check out our review over here. Back 4 Blood is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
