The Google Easter egg team is at it again with a new trick that lets you see what happens if Thanos were to snap half your Avengers: Endgame search results out of existence.

To start, you’ll just need to type “Thanos” into your Google search. If you’re worried about seeing Endgame spoilers, it doesn’t appear to be a problem at the moment (though we’re here to help those who are looking to discuss the film). In any case, you should actually focus your attention on the right side of the search results. There, you should see the Infinity Gauntlet. Incidentally, this trick also seems to work if you search for Infinity Gauntlet.

Either way, click on the Gauntlet, and you should trigger an animation in which half of the search results are snapped out of existence. It’s not entirely clear whether or not half of the results are really wiped clean via this method, but that seems to at least be the narrative that the Easter egg is pushing. It certainly seems to affect the top Google news results.

If you decide that you no longer want to live in this universe where half of all collected information about out Mad Titan overlord and the only reasonable force for justice in the MCU, Thanos, is wiped from existence, you can always just refresh the Google page or click the gauntlet again in order to set everything back to “normal.” Given some of the content on the internet, though, we do wonder if the snapped world is indeed a better world.

Some people are saying that this trick appears to be much easier to pull off on a desktop rather than mobile devices. If you need a little more information about getting a PC optimized for performing Google Easter eggs, be sure to keep an eye out on our ongoing PC gaming series in which we’ll soon breakdown the construction of our new PC (cheap plug).
