The upcoming Call of Duty League is starting to take shape as teams begin to build their rosters and coaching staff. The teams have been making announcing over the last couple of weeks regarding coaching positions, and the anticipated Atlanta Call of Duty League team announced who will be taking on the job as head coach.
James “Crowder” Crowder has a long history within the professional Call of Duty scene. Throughout his career he played for notable teams such as Luminosity Gaming, Echo Fox, and most notably with FaZe Clan. The highest point of his career within Call of Duty was when he became the 2015 World Champion as part of Denial Esports.
Recently Crowder turned his focus towards the coaching side of professional Call of Duty. He’s most notable for his tenure as coach for 100 Thieves who unfortunately decided to not field a team for the Call of Duty League. Crowder and 100 Thieves were a strong team and have found success throughout the 2019 season. They won both CWL Anaheim 2019 and CWL London 2019. They came up just short of the 2019 Call of Duty World League Championship for a second place finish as eUnited took home the championship.
Crowder has a long running history of success within the professional Call of Duty scene as both a player and a coach. He helped make 100 Thieves into a top team in the scene and helped make FaZe Clan one of the most popular Call of Duty esports organizations on the planet.
