A new set of trophies unearthed this week may hint at some new, as yet unannounced DLC for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
As spotted by AC fan account Access the Animus, Ubisoft have quietly updated the game this week with a new set of trophies. While there’s only two of these trophies, they come under the name Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Tombs of the Fallen. The first challenges players to complete one, with the second awarded for finishing three of them. Whether these tombs will be combat-focused, puzzle-based or otherwise is still as yet TBA.
It’s currently unknown if this will be a smaller update, like the previously added River Raids. Alternatively, it could be part of a larger expansion like The Siege of Paris chapter that launched back in August. The company confirmed during its Ubisoft Forward presentation at E3 this year that it would be offering a second year of content for Valhalla, in lieu of a new Assassin’s Creed game this year.
At the moment, Ubisoft haven’t commented either way so for now, we’ll have to wait and see. For now, the most recent major Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC was the historically-focused Discovery Tour: Viking Age spin-off last month. We’ll let you know if an official announcement turns up.
A new set of trophies has been added to #AssassinsCreed Valhalla and it seems to involve an upcoming piece of content called “Tombs of the Fallen”!
Considering it involves at least three tombs to explore, could this be the official name for the Odin Runes dedicated content? pic.twitter.com/uSDIyAlx19
