Along with the possible art gallery, Animal Crossing: New Horizons may add The Roost Café and barista Brewster in a future update (via Animal Crossing World).

Of course, we can’t say for certain that the character and his café are on their way to the game. These conversations could be left over from an earlier version of New Horizons which did intend to use the café. However, they could be hinting that the prim pigeon has got an inbound flight to the player’s island. We’ll keep you in the loop once we know more.

The evidence? There are two conversations with two New Horizons villagers that point towards the presence of The Roost Café on the island. Clay talks about drinking far too much coffee: “I guess Brewster was right! 17 cups of coffee is 3 too many!” And, Maddie says how strange it would be to see The Roost Café empty of customers: “Imagine, you are at the Roost and no one is there. All you can do is get a drink with Brewster!”

These conversations, combined with Isabelle’s mention of a “a wide range of storefronts” in island evaluations, have got players thinking that the renowned café and its reticent owner will be arriving in New Horizons at some point. Like the art gallery, Brewster’s café is a big part of Animal Crossing games. In Wild World, The Roost Café is found in the lower level of the Museum, and there is apparently a “MuseumCafe” in New Horizons’ code. Also, Brewster is beloved by the Animal Crossing community—you can even get a The Roost-themed scented candle.

So ye the Roost and Brewster, where tho ?? ‘Imagine you go to The Roost and there’s noone. Now u only have to get a drink with Brewster’ #AnimalCrossing #ACNH pic.twitter.com/CQ61Ok0B1O
