When viewing a popular clip of Amouranth leaving one of her moderators hanging during a Comic Con event, Twitch streamer “ItsSlikeR” decided to take action and save the day.
In the clip, the poor fella went in for a high-five, but Amouranth appeared oblivious, responding to chat instead and leaving him hanging – all live for plenty of viewers to witness the horror. When SlikeR viewed the clip, he felt the mod’s pain and decided to take action, quickly moving his camera image over to him to complete the high-five. SlikeR’s chat praised him for the good deed, leading to a flood of “SAVED” remarks from viewers.
SlikeR is an English streamer who, aside from some occasional CS:GO and League of Legends (to name a few), mainly is known for his IRL streams, duet singing, and appearances on Rajj Patel’s many shows. In this particular stream, he was reacting to a viewing of the YouTube video, “Top 25 Awkward Moments!” The high-five denial heard round-the-world appears at the 2:48 mark in the video, and it is quite uncomfortable to witness.
For those unfamiliar, this isn’t the first time an Amouranth mod was denied. When news about Amouranth’s husband went public, one of her moderators did not take it lightly. Apparently, he was using the platform, his money, and his mod services simply as a means to get close to the streamer romantically. Amouranth shut that prospect down upon his confronting her lying, and the follow-up was unfortunate.
Supposedly, Twitch is withholding partnership from SlikeR for unknown reasons, many believing it to be his controversial “Just Chatting” topics and unfiltered style of streaming. Maybe now that SlikeR has helped out one of Amouranth’s moderators with a big save of a high-five (therefore helping Twitch darling Amouranth) – he will finally find favor in the eyes of Twitch’s staff and receive approval for partnership.
