The post provides two main solutions to the problem. First, to “Disable the overrides in the driver settings.” Second, it recommends capping your frame rate at 60fps. “This will help prevent issues with the GPU’s utilization.”
The EVGA models of the RTX 3090 seem to have been disproportionately affected by the issue. Some users, however, have responded to the post, saying that they are still experiencing the issue. And that it isn’t just on EVGA models, either.
At the moment, it may be wise to wait before jumping into New World until the problem is properly fixed.
